Mr Dave Duffy MBBS, FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics)
Dave is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in knee surgery at Harrogate District Hospital. He consults privately at the Duchy BMI Hospital in Harrogate.
His practice covers all aspects of knee surgery, from sports injuries to arthritis of the knee. He routinely performs total and partial knee replacements, arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery and cruciate ligament reconstruction. His specialist areas of interest include sports-related pathology.
Dave’s expertise in knee surgery was attained from renowned UK fellowship posts in Leeds and Harrogate before working in Australia with the leading knee surgeon, Dr. Peter Myers, where he gained experience in treating professional sports men and women.
On returning to the UK, Dave worked as a Consultant at Wrightington Hospital Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence before moving to Harrogate in 2010.
He maintains an active interest in education and research by teaching regularly on courses for training surgeons, and is the author and contributor of a number of surgical articles in national and international journals.
