Mr. Calder attended, as an invited faculty member, a course at the NSTC (Newcastle Surgical Training Centre) in the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle on 7th september. He was teaching young orthopaedic surgeons to perform knee replacements and other knee surgery in a laboratory setting. The course was run by Professor David Deehan, and feedback was excellent after a long intensive day."
